The Lutheran High School Association of St. Louis (LHSA) is seeking to hire an

Summary: The Admissions Administrative Assistant must have the ability to multitask effectively. This candidate must have an approachable personality that reflects the school’s culture. Applicants must efficiently perform all assigned duties and responsibilities, as outlined below.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform various clerical duties: copying and filing, organizing, data entry, and others as assigned
- Provide support for admissions events, including planning and conducting admissions events such as Freshmen Retreat and Orientation
- Assist the Director with projects, collecting records, data entry, office organization as needed.
- Effectively communicate with prospective students and parents, in person, via phone and in written formats
- Depending on the individual’s skillset, assist leadership by gathering/analyzing data, writing reports, creating print/digital media, or coordinating these activities if performed by others.

- Organized and personable with excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills
- Attentive to detail; willing and able work efficiently
- A collaborative, self-starter who can work both as part of a team and independently.
- Computer and data entry expertise – experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite required; experience with Blackbaud products, or a willingness to learn them preferred; experience in graphic layout and design is an added plus
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: General office experience preferred
This is a 20-hour per week, part-time, non-exempt position. The schedule is flexible regarding the number of hours and work days and times. Compensation is hourly, ranging from $16-$18, depending on ability and experience.
